The pricing is little too much! Service is horrible very poor service, the server did not communicate properly so i got extra order which we dont need... the server need to smile or be friendly, 2times we went to this place i will never recommend, need some cleaning done!!!!!u need to hire a better server...
Love the food! Crispy Pata make sure to ask for it!
Some food was good, some less so, buffet decent.
Food is ok, slow service and not even during peak hours.
Good filipino crusine
Friendly atmosphere. Excellent food choices with a ton of flavour! Even for Canadian lol
Reasonable price for the buffet and offers varieties of homemade Filipino cooked meals!! Make sure you finish what you get so you don't get charged $5 for leftovers (buffet style). This place also offers catering for small/big gatherings. If you're a filipino by birth or even just by heart and you love Filipino food, this is the a go to place here in the millwoods area!!
Staff’s are friendly and food was hot when delivered in the table but the buffet is not good in terms on refilling. Came twice there, I tried their Ala Carte menu at first visit and was satisfied. However, went back there to try their buffet but it dissapoints me especially their “street foods”. “Isaw” was great but the “Addidas” was tough to bite in. They should have boiled it first to soften it before grilling, but the rest was good though the item “tenga” was not available for refill thatmakes it a dissapointing. Buffet should have a continues refill no matter what. If they are avoiding waste through cooking a lot, it doesn’t makes sense, they should have a back up of uncooked item and they can just cook it when needed and people will wait for that refill.
Very expensive buffet. My 4 year old ate 2 bbq's and 1 spring roll and he was charged $11. I think it was crazy.
This is a great restaurant with great value. The price for the buffet is as cheap as eating at any pub or chain restaurant yet lets you try as much as you would like. With that being said, I (at 220lbs) could only finish two plates heaped with pancit, kaldereta, rice, springrolls, Filipino BBQ skewers, menudo, and some Filipino street food style quail eggs called kwek-kwek. It was a fantastic dinner and both my wife and I were really for a food coma by the time we got to the car.
I really love their "street food" buffet. The pork isaw is really soft. Brings back good memories.
Palabok was good. Tilapia was just regular taste but the included dipping was super delicious. Kare kare it was good too. Place is not to decent. Flies flyin around.
The Best of Filipinos tradition!" Eat All You Can " Awesome atmosphere- Good ambience - Good Service and All the Food is Yummy!
First time here.... While it is a Filipino's restaurant, they have a lot of good food across Asia and it was very tasty. Was here for a gathering and depending on the crowd, it can be sometimes tight to move around.
Poor service. The inasal was dry also. Lowkey regretting that we got the inasal. I kind of assumed that their specialty is inasal cuz its in the name. I kept choking on the dry chicken. Haha. We also got isaw and pork bbq. Those 2 was ok. I liked these 2 things so i gave 2 stars. Lol the server though.... No smile at all. I don't know if she's fed up with the "tita" who kept giving her orders.😂 But ya i don't recommend. .
Friendly and prompt service. Excellent Filipino food. Came piping-hot to the table just the way I like it. Free ice cream for the kiddies and or the young at heart. I loved the chicken skewers. Bicol Express was to die for.Kare Kare my wife's favorite. Simple decor and reasonable cost. Very family friendly atmosphere.
First of all, the service is extremely substandard. For instance, My friends and I waited for at least 10 minutes before receiving any assistance from the staff. This was on a Thursday with almost no people eating at the restaurant. The restaurant service is also very unpleasant because we had to get our own plates for 7-8 people after the food arrived. Also, the food took about nearly 45 minutes despite the restaurant not having any other costumers. Overall, the food is not worth the price and the service is horrible. Would 100% not recommend, unless they improve their service and food.
The buffet was terrible do not go for the buffet it was like an animal host in there as soon as they put food down it was gone you had to race for it
Good food here. Our waitress was really nice. I would recommend.
One of the worst! Food doesn't taste that good and you'll wait for 45 mins when it's not even busy. Would not recommend.
Good BBQ. Prices might be a lil too much for the mains. But the food is good
Food is overpriced. We paid over $50 worth of food, one dish costs $15 and we got only half a serving, not enough for 2 person to share.
Peace of mind at the restaurant and favorite spot for family
Great tasty buffet
Big change from the last time we were here.Bbq and isaw are great. Water/coffee/tea are self serve too!
I check on their website for store hours and it says they open till 9pm, I show up 7:25 and they say their close, this place is on my my block list now.
We ate and ordered BULALO and really awful. 2 pieces of meat and a cabbage and that’s it. No more ingredients. 17$ its not worth it. No more emilio inasal for me.
Nice BBQ food. Good for family dinning. Buffet looks great.
Delicious Filipino Street Food!
I was expecting a kwek kwek.
I don't like the server's demeanor. The young guy with piercing doesn't know a thing about customer service. I hope he get's fired asap.
I was excited to try it since my parents can't stop talking about this place last time and I was disappointed. I gave 2 stars (1 for the soup - it tasted divine and the other is just because I still did eat a lot to get my moneys' worth. Buffet price is a little pricey considering the quality of food, it doesn't have that much variety and the BBQ is not up to Par to the authentic ph bbq I used to eat before. It didn't trigger any nostalgia in me. Maybe it is my parents' fault for overselling it, maybe it is my taste buds or maybe it is the price coz I'm so stingy... I still recommend this if you want to just try philippine cuisine once, the food is not bad especially the soup (best soup). They have good selection of desserts as well. Won't be coming back tho.
Fairly good Filipino buffet... Best Pinoy pork barbecue and isaw I've had in Edmonton so far. Wish they would replenish faster though.
Love love love this place. Price is so affordable
Me and my friends went here to eat and hang out. When we entered the restaurant nobody assisted or even greeted us. The place was very small and the service was very poor. The food portion are small. We ordered a half chicken inasal and we got a breast only. And the Bicol express was not even full. Also, we ordered halo halo and banana con yelo and I will not recommend this because its not good. This is our worst experience And when we are paying, we heard one of the staff yelling that we ordered too much.
We did take out and loved it. Ordered a ton of different dishes and they were all delicious. Mmm... Can't stop eating...
Sad example of a Filipino restaurant. We had dinner here and had a poor dining experience.Food was not prepared well, the taste was not delicious, and service was terrible. While we were dining a staff member proceeded to sweep the floor around us and used the broom on the actual top surface of the adjacent table to clean it. Seriously? Not cool!I've been to many inasal restaurants in the Philippines, and was hoping this one here in Edmonton would be a good representation of the tastes of back home, but it sadly does not deserve a repeat visit from us.
good food but a lit bit pricey for me... I hope they can have different sauce for each bbq in the future. $18 for buffet it’s not worth it...
louuuuusy service crew. good enough food though
Had a nice supper. Enjoyed the isaw. Big serving of rice.
It says open until 9pm.we were sitted at 8pm given a menu. Only to be informed minutes later that they are not taking anymore orders. Very disappointing.
The food here is as great as their service. It sucks. I don't recommend eating here.
Lunch time and it was busy as usual. No BBQ for 20 mins. That is the main reason we went. They should be prepared as they know how busy they get during these times.
Friendly staff and good food! Went here to try their tusok tusok buffet and it was good especially the barbeques! Yummy!
the lady went inside the kitchen leaving us customer outside for a long time. we are waiting to ask for refill and to ask for container to go but it takes a while before somebody went out to check us. expensive food.
This was my first time trying Philippine cuisine and the taste was good but the restaurant was so busy, I was asked to pay first then sit down which I have never experienced. Not a lot to choose from. It did not include dessert and you only get to choose between coffee and water. They did not have enough meat skewers and when the server would bring some from the kitchen, people will jump to take 4 or 5 skewer at the time with their bare hands, for that reason, I will not come back to the restaurant. For the price $20.99 it is not worth it.
Delicious food,try it! so you'll know.😁👍
They close at 9pm but didn’t fill their buffet trays anymore at 6pm and people were being sent away for lack of food. No one served us drinks and took a long time to fill for water. This place is not prepared to accommodate a full buffet place and to top it all off, you are required to pay first before you eat.
